INSTALL ALPHA FOREX ROBOT

To install a Forex Expert Advisor (EA) on MetaTrader 5 (MT5), follow these steps:

1. Locate the EA file: Ensure you have the EA file (usually in .ex5 format) that you want to install. You might have purchased or downloaded it from a trusted source.

2. Open MT5: Launch your MetaTrader 5 platform on your computer.

3. Navigate to the "Navigator" window: This window usually appears on the left side of the MT5 platform. If you can't see it, go to "View" in the top menu and click on "Navigator" to enable it.

4. Locate "Expert Advisors": In the "Navigator" window, you should see a section called "Expert Advisors." If it's not expanded, click on the arrow next to it to reveal its contents.

5. Copy or move the EA file: Find the EA file in your file explorer (e.g., Windows Explorer) and copy it (CTRL+C) or cut it (CTRL+X).

6. Paste the EA file into the "Expert Advisors" folder: Go back to the "Expert Advisors" section in the "Navigator" window, right-click on it, and select "Open Folder." This will open the directory where the EAs are stored.

7. Paste the EA file into the directory: Once the folder is open, paste the EA file you copied or cut in Step 5 into this directory (CTRL+V).

8. Restart MT5 or Refresh the Navigator: Close and reopen MetaTrader 5 to allow the platform to recognize the newly added EA. Alternatively, you can right-click on "Expert Advisors" in the "Navigator" window and select "Refresh" to update the list.

9. Enable automated trading and import the EA: In MT5, make sure you enable automated trading. To do this, click on the "Auto Trading" button in the top toolbar. It should turn green when activated.

10. Drag the EA onto the chart: Locate the EA in the "Navigator" window, click and hold it, then drag it onto the chart of the currency pair you want to trade with the EA. A window should appear, allowing you to configure the settings of the EA, such as input parameters and trading options.

11. Configure EA settings: Set the parameters as per your requirements. Some EAs may require specific settings, while others can work with default settings.

12. Check "Allow Live Trading": At the top of the chart, make sure the "AutoTrading" button is activated, and "Allow Live Trading" is checked. These buttons should be green.

13. Enable "Expert Advisors" and "Allow DLL Imports": Go to the "Options" window by clicking on "Tools" in the top menu and selecting "Options." In the "Expert Advisors" tab, ensure the options "Allow automated trading" and "Allow DLL imports" are checked.

14. Click "OK": Once you've set up the EA and adjusted the settings, click "OK" in the settings window. The EA should now be running on the chart and executing trades based on its programmed strategy.
